Sue's inspiration comes from the ever-changing world and the patterns, shapes and colour found within. She creates muted to vibrant painterly landscapes, seascapes and abstracts using acrylic and oils; responding in a spontaneous way to the environment. Whether working large or small scale, she uses her ideas to create images that are interpretive of mood and atmosphere.
During the past two years, Sue has achieved national success with her paintings being accepted and hung by The Royal West of England Academy Bristol, The RI of Painters in Water Colour at the Mall Galleries London and The Society of Women Artists Open. Nearer to home her work has been exhibited at Leamington Studio Artists exhibitions, Rugby Opens, Broadway Festival Opens, Coventry Open and The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Friends and Opens.
