Hello there!
I'm Russell, a part-time artist based near Leamington Spa in England.
I originally studied Illustration at Mid-Warwickshire Art College, following which I pursued a career in creative agencies. I've managed to cover a wide genre of subjects in my work, attracting several commissions. My paintings, which are highly detailed, include pet portraits, still life and automobiles. My preferred medium is gouache, which is an opaque watercolour that is fast drying.
During Lockdown in 2020, I produced work responding to online daily art challenges.
I've exhibited annually in Leamington Spa and at a number of local village exhibitions and markets around South Warwickshire.
In addition to my original pieces, I'm also available for commissions, so please get in touch.
I’ll be exhibiting with three other artists in Bishops Itchington this year. I’ll be showing original gouache paintings and stationery.
