I studied textiles focusing on embroidery and mark making, developing my colourful style. Whether running a creative business, teaching workshops or hand dyeing yarn, colour has always shone through my work.
I love the outdoors and nature, and regularly take my inspiration from my walks through the countryside and my garden.
My textile artwork is built up in layers using a variety of mediums such as paint, dye and hand embroidery to create a coherent and flowing piece in a contemporary style.
During 2022 I will be developing new work and designing new workshops. I am really looking forward to opening my new studio to visitors and sharing my progress.
