Louise comes from a clothing design background & worked in high end fashion & couture after graduating from Kingston University in London.
Her design work has always been deeply routed in art, traditional craft & textiles.

She is inspired by women & the way they perceive themselves, folklore, mythology, ritual, tradition, nostalgia, spirituality & the magical natural world.

Passionate about making things in an environmentally friendly way she only uses simple, natural materials like European linen, cotton & wool.

Her designs have sold internationally & have been stocked in independent boutiques in the UK.

For the Summer Arts Week she will be exhibiting her hand smocked graduate collection (featured on the London Graduate Fashion Week catwalk 2012) along with some of her newer works that include her ‘lovers eye’ embroidery art series & previously unseen hand quilted, patchwork linen pieces for both body & home.
