You are welcome to visit my Open Studios where I live, have my pottery workshop and grow many types of succulent plants.
I make two styles of earthenware pottery.
My wheel thrown high fired planters are contemporary, stylish and individually made. They look great in the house or garden. I am constantly making new shapes and surface designs to complement my plants, so there are always new pots to see.
My other style is a distinctive yellow glazed slipware pottery and stems from a love of traditional country pottery. Inspired by my life here on a small farm the animal subjects take on individual characters when slip trailed onto these pottery bowls. My aim is to make people smile just as much when they use them as when I make them.
I always have displays of unusual succulents, which is a real passion and always happy to chat about and give tips on growing. My resident chickens are free to roam around, so it always makes for an interesting visit out here in the woods.
