Although I use mostly acrylic or oil paints in my artwork, I nearly always incorporate texture into them using a variety of mediums. Colour is important to me and this is often reflected in the exaggerated brightness of my work.
In this current exhibition, my art is varied in subject – some paintings being abstract and others almost realistic – but all with added textures. I also make 'altered' journals and 'upcycled' old pots, vases and bottles using a variety of mediums. These will all be available to purchase during Summer Art Weeks along with a variety of handmade greetings cards. I look forward to welcoming you.
