As a Coventry-based artist I am inspired to reveal aspects of hidden beauty both in and around Coventry. I work mainly in acrylic and oil using an expressionistic and loose style. My aim is always to evoke an atmosphere using textural marks and vibrant colour with a strong sense of light. My inspiration comes from walking locally and my work reflects my engagement with both natural and built environments. On sale I will have paintings of local views, as well as some more experimental pieces, prints and cards and a selection of eco-friendly necklaces together with a number of wet felted pictures.
