Ali is the designer and lampwork glass bead maker at ‘All About the Beads’. She creates jewellery for people looking for one-of-a-kind, handmade treasures, inspiring her customers to get excited by colour and to find pieces that complement their personal style and make them feel beautiful and special. Ali draws her inspiration from art, nature, and landscapes – real and imagined. The rainbow of glass rods and gemstones she uses to create her glass beads and jewellery are her artist’s palette and she loves to create subtle colour combinations, blending her organic-style glass beads with natural gemstones, pearls and silver.
Ali has been making jewellery since 2008 and is joining Emma O’Brien for an eighth year of Open Studios. Emma is an illustrator and the creator of ‘Naughty Monsters’ – crazy and colourful soft sculpted characters.
This year the artists are in their new venue at Emma's home, in her garden studio, where visitors are also welcome to a delicious vegan cake (or two).
