I have been a tutor and printmaker for many years and it was during lockdown that I reassessed my working practice and the need to venture out into a very different medium.
I have always been interested in working in 3D and found that working with wire gave me the opportunity to use my love of drawing and sculpting a 3D object at the same time. From the moment I started I was hooked.
Over this year I have already had a commission for a half-life sized dog and have had much interest from whoever has seen them.
This year, I am happy to say that I will be sharing my studio with two other artists – Dannie Z Alexander, another printmaker and Ruth Parkinson, a textile artist.
So please come along and enjoy looking at the amazing selection of work on display at my fully equipped printmaking studio, which is set in a peaceful beautiful garden.
