I am an artist interested in extending the potential of combining mixed media and textile work. My recent work is inspired by the natural landscape, using a range of techniques including painting, applique, layering and both hand and free machine stitching. This year I will also be showing my experimental sketch books and developmental pieces, which illustrate my interest in incorporating other methods such as dyeing and printing into my work. I will be exhibiting again as part of the 'Art in Dunchurch' group in the lovely gardens of Inglenook in the centre of the village of Dunchurch.
