Drawing, Painting

In May 2020 I started to draw again. Mostly for myself, but directly as a result of lockdown and needing to find something for me again, a frame of mind, some escapism. I produce drawings inspired by nature and wildlife. Most of my drawings are taken directly from life or worked on later from a photograph but inspired by my natural surroundings.

I am very excited to be exhibiting at Caldecott Park. I will be drawing and taking photographs around the park before and during the Summer Art Weeks. So you may find me drawing on site or in the near vicinity. I like to use pencils and fine liners to get started with a sketch and then introduce watercolours or inks.

I'm hosted by Hatty Bakewell's café I will try to be there most days around midday, but even if I am not there my work will be visible whilst the café is open.
