Inspired by the Warwickshire countryside and gardens, I create pieces that reflect the beauty of my surroundings. Stoneware for everyday practical items including mugs, bowls and soap dishes, and porcelain for finer and decorative objects.
My work starts with a flat slab of clay which is then decorated, often with impressions of Warwickshire flora. For example, I have a range using local barley collected over the summer of 2020 on daily lockdown walks.
Come and see me at Bankside Gallery in Marlcliff to see my full range, including many one-offs which are not on the website. Conversations about commissions are always welcome.
You will also be able to see the different making processes.
Opening times as published and by appointment.
Marlcliff village is a pleasant 20-minute stroll along the river from Bidford if you want to arrive by foot, and an excellent starting place for many other walks. Dog friendly, although no dogs in the Gallery please.
Looking forward to seeing you!
