I am a wildlife & natural history artist working in mixed media, specialising in traditional and contemporary drawing and painting. My love of nature and art began as a young child living in rural Warwickshire. I was encouraged by my parents to draw and paint what I saw while playing in the woods and fields around our home. My path as an artist has moved in many areas from graphic studios & illustration, theatre design and teaching. I have held many solo exhibitions over the years and regularly exhibit with societies and organisations, where I have been fortunate enough to win several awards locally and nationally. I have been featured on cable tv and my work is in collections in Canada, USA and Europe. Not only am I a working artist but also a tutor running my own weekly classes, courses and workshops. I also give demonstrations and workshops with art clubs & societies around the country. My current project revolves around the beauty and importance of trees using natural pigments.
