I'm a potter and I grow plants. My aim is to make pots that complement the plants I grow and look great indoors or in the garden.
My pots are made from earthenware clay and are high fired; this makes them very durable. I use a palette of white, greys, blacks and browns in overlays to build up visual texture and scratch though the layers to create physical texture. Each pot is unique.
Recently I have revisited the craft of macramé and make fibre plant hangers incorporating recycled wooden beads and washers. They are a lovely way to suspend a planter to let your plants grow freely.
Following a tremendous reception at Art in the Park 2018 I will be offering a wide selection of pot sizes and plants here in the barn for Open Studios.
