An exhibition of thought provoking military and civilian patchwork quilts and their social history, from the Mid Victorian period to the 1980s, collected & restored by Jane & Peterson Cobbett.

A selection of vintage patchwork and quilts from my educational collection will be displayed throughout the historic Medieval Weavers House and herb garden; guided tours are available or enjoy the quilts at your leisure and relax in the garden with a cup of tea and homemade cake.

Jane Cobbett is a tutor and collector of patchwork, living and working in Coventry; she is keen to share her knowledge of patchwork, history and embroidery in her classes, workshops and exhibitions (details of these will be available at the exhibition or on www.janecobbett.btck.co.uk
