Nothing is natural. Nothing is static.
A photographic exhibition of post industrial images, sumptuous landscapes, cityscapes and urban imagery in a post industrial space (the Iron Yard, Warwick). With wall mounted prints, high quality images for sale, a daily slideshow and the photographer present to discuss his work, this exhibition provides a different perspective on the land and landscapes we see around us.
We live in a world of constant change, indeed we have always have done so. Yet all too often we look for mythical images of the past, “timeless” landscapes, as if denying the present with its convenience, its challenges and its benefits. The present brings its own landscapes, from those that still hold the remains of recent change to ones that today’s society creates. In these landscapes there is a rare, sometimes stark, beauty that is captured in these images.
Find me in the centre of Warwick, just off the square, up the stairs at the end of the Iron Yard (CV34 4SD)
