Karen Pittaway

Region:
Warwick
Artform:
Painting

The studio is an old conservatory set in lovely gardens behind the Bank Gallery, next to St Nicholas Church and alongside a mosaic artists studio, which is also open for visitors. Karen Pittaway is a painter whose work is collected worldwide and sold through a number of galleries. Often likened to Lowry she paints street scenes full of life and activity. Many of her paintings are commissioned works but prints and cards are available through her website www.karenpittaway.co.uk or directly from her studio. Her preferred medium is oil on canvas. The studio has street parking to the front and a carpark at the rear, near the church. Abbey Fields is a beautiful park with a lake and play area and there is a patisserie for tea and cake just across the road. The Castle is at the far end of the street. An artists life is quite solitary so all visitors will be made very welcome!
