What a year!
Have had worked selected for RI of Painters of Water Colours - Mall Galleries London
Broadway Art Festival Open, Friends of RBSA Open and the icing on the cake, The Society of Women Artists Open. Not forgetting Rugby Art Gallery and Museum Open. Closed at the moment due to Covid 19.
Hoping my solo exhibition at Rugby Floor One Gallery will go ahead next April!
Pleased to have made the final selection of 200 artists at Broadway Arts Festival Open 2020. Online from 29th May.
Solo exhibition at Floor One Gallery, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum postponed till 2021.
Sue creates muted to painterly landscapes, seascapes and abstracts in acrylics and oils. Her work, real or imagined, is grounded in the places she has visited and convey differing moods and atmosphere. The spontaneity and vigour of her paint marks allow her paintings to take on a life of their own.
Sue's work has been selected and shown at the RBSA, Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Broadway Arts Festival, the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) Bristol, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum 2020, LSA and the RI of Painters of Water Colour 2020, Mall Galleries London. (Online as a result of the virus).
