As a relative newcomer to the English art scene, Silvia recently won Best in Show for the Fine Art Trade Guild annual exhibition and was a finalist for the Guild Society Up and Coming Artist of the Year.
Silvia’s paintings were recently selected for the prestigious Society of Women Artists 2019 Annual Exhibition and were displayed in the Mall Galleries on Trafalgar Square in London. The exhibition was officially opened by Princess Michael of Kent.
Having lived in three countries and traveled extensively, Silvia believes her nomadic lifestyle is the inspiration behind her unique organic art. Silvia creates depth through exquisite transparent layers of intense colour, achieving ethereal paintings with a mystical undertone. Her aim is to provoke a positive emotion and a stream of consciousness within the observer. Everyone interprets her art differently and responds with a starkly distinctive narrative.
Silvia is a qualified Architect in two countries with a quest to find unique paintings to complement her bold design vision for the spaces she creates. In a pursuit to express beyond architectural boundaries, her large-scale paintings are bold, bright and visually striking.
