I work at the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury, i co set up this studio with three other potters in 2007. We all have our own exhibition area, and a working area. We share the work load so we open every day 10-5. After a short while we decided to move to a larger unit so we can now run evening classes , Mon-Thursday and also daytime classes and parties. It has proved a really good flexible arrangement. This year for WOS, I am exhibiting at Cleve Garden Studio with Dorothy and Geoff Crowe in June
Sally was born in Cheltenham, and them relocated to Alcester, Warwickshire when approx 14 years old. From here, she attended Bournville School of Art after school, for foundation where Ceramics was the favourite media. Following this Leicester Polytechnic for an Industrial Design Degree Course. Sally set up Alcester Pottery in the town centre after this, and after life taking over for some years, returned to ceramics again in 2004, where the interest was resurrected enough to set up the studio at the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in 2007 to present day.
