I am a Warwickshire based artist specialising in drawing. I graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in 1996 and produced art for pleasure alongside my teaching career until recently deciding to make it my primary focus. Although I like to work in a variety of mediums, I always return to pencil on paper for its versatility and simplicity. My work ranges from small illustrative ink drawings of animals to large scale equine pieces and more recently, a return to dodos- a favourite subject from many years ago.
