I am a part-time artist, working from a purpose-built studio in my back garden to create abstract and semi-abstract art using oils and an experimental and intuitive/instinctive approach. My inspiration comes from many sources, but all my paintings can be linked back to the natural world in one way or another. My colour palette is usually vibrant and bold, and I make marks with anything to hand - palette knives, rags, squeegees and even paint brushes sometimes!
