I've always loved textiles; specifically I love how fabric feels, can move, drape, be moulded, have colour and texture and be used as a medium to reflect the world around and within.

Like most people, I've become more and more aware of the impact that creating and producing items is having on the planet. I am conscious of where I source materials, the waste that I create and the longevity of the items I make.

I like working with real wool, a sustainable, natural and versatile yarn which I use to "draw" and design soft furnishings. Animals, trees and flowers tend to be the main inspiration and I enjoy mixing a variety of techniques to create different textures and effects.

I also like to try and re-purpose old textiles such a t-shirts, cotton shirts and jumpers in an effort to give items a new lease of life.
