I am a Leamington based artist and photographer, with a passion for creating images of landscapes, especially seas and skies. I am a regular visitor to St. Ives and love the wildness of the ever changing weather, and trying to capture something of this in my paintings. I enjoy painting fairly freely and playfully, and many of my pictures are semi abstract, although always connected to the natural world. I paint mainly in acrylic and also mixed media, and have been exhibiting with Warwickshire Open Studios for many years. I have also exhibited at Art in the Park, the Loft Theatre, the Well Centre, and as part of the Healing arts programme at University Hospital Coventry. I also have high quality prints and greeting cards available of many of my paintings. I will also hopefully be exhibiting later this year (late Nov/early Dec 2020) in Leamington Spa alongside some other artists.
I have been painting for nearly 20 years, and see it as a never ending process of learning, playing, discovering, evolving. For my 'day job' I work as an Arts Psychotherapist, so I'm fascinated by the creative process and how creativity can be immensely healing in all kinds of ways. My photography journey began over 30 years ago, and after a long dormant time has re-emerged as a great passion, which I see as distinct from my painting. I have a selection of photos of a recent trip to Iceland (country, not supermarket) which was enormously inspiring.

My website gives a few indications of my work, but doesn't show all my images by any means. But do get in touch if you'd like to explore possibilities regarding any of my paintings or photographs.
