I have exhibited at New Designers , Pyramid House Gallery (York), Stroud House Gallery, Cupola Gallery (Sheffield) and my current work is exhibited locally at Fosse House Gallery in Dunchurch
I have a website, an ETSY page and a FOLKSY shop as an online outlets and also attend various local craft fairs and maker sales.
I am happiest when I am making!
Before high school I developed an interest in FIMO - it's a polymer clay that you bake in the oven. I loved it - I had Tupperware boxes full of things I had made, flowers, animals, brooches etc. When I went to high school I studied GSCE ceramics then went on to study a B-TEC ND in ceramics. From there I went on to study Ceramics at University as a major with Wood, Metal and Plastics as a minor. I count myself very fortunate to have had these opportunities before the choice of courses diminished and the tutition fees came in!
LoobyLoo Ceramics
I like my work to be both fun and functional, taking inspiration from Scandinavian design as well as 50's fabric patterns. I squeeze as much making in as I can around my family and work commitments.
