Born and raised in Norfolk I later moved to London to study Fine Art and Contemporary Dance at University. I pursued a career in dance, aerial circus arts and stunt wingwalking before taking up visual art full time. I have always been most inspired by the natural world and although a lot of my recent paintings are highly colourful leanings towards the fantasy genre I am a slave to realism and enjoy rendering nature in all its most gloriously intricate detail. As somebody who cares passionately about the environment I favour the use of water based and dry mediums due to their lower toxicity levels and minimal waste.
