I was born in Vienna, came to England in 1939, went to school in Nottingham, my first job was in the library service followed by several years as a social worker in Nottingham and Buckinghamshire. I gained a CQSW and my teaching diploma, followed by a City and Guilds in stitched textiles and then a diploma. Moving to Banbury I did a foundation in Art and Design, a Degree in Fine Art and finally a MA in extended Art techniques.During this time, I taught City and Guilds Embroidery in Aylesbury and taught art, textiles and collage as a freelance tutor. I have exhibited,widley in the uk and abroad
