I have been doodling and drawing for as long as I can remember. In the 90s, whilst working for EMI Records, I successfully produced portraits for some of the music artists which I thought might be more personal than gold discs they would normally receive. At around the same time I started drawing a more detailed style of work using a Rotring pen, the first drawing of which is called "Conqueror". I have since continued to develop this style which I now frequently combine with colour pencils to make highly detailed pictures, many of which are now also available as greetings cards.
I have illustrated two books, one in 2017 and 2020 and also self-published my first childrens' art book in 2018 entitled "Use Your Imaginaria!" and am now producing work towards a second book aimed at children, especially those with autism. The book is designed to be a story book without words and allows each reader's creative imagination to form a unique story per illustration.
I am formulating ideas at the moment to see if I have enough "teaching power" in me to offer workshops for kids online to encourage them to use their imaginations to create amazing art. Producing a video is something I am very new to so this is just a backshelf idea at the moment ..
