Dot and I share studio space in the converted washhouse in our cottage garden. I am an independent part time potter and my work in the workshop studio is mainly thrown on the wheel; the thrown glazed contemporary porcelain stoneware ceramic vessels are decorated with two basic glazes. I am now moving more towards using Valentine Clay’s Porcelain Stoneware. Throwing is about what you feel; it is a very responsive tactile and meditational experience and I just enjoy the journey.
