Art has always played a huge role in my life with creativity running deep in the veins of the family gene pool. My inspiration is drawn from a deep connection to nature, especially woodlands and water, and also the moon and the stars and everything in-between. You will see that much of my work echoes the magical landscapes and the wonderful wildlife found in Finland as well as over here in the UK. This in part due to my Finnish heritage (on my Mother's side) and also because I've been lucky enough to have lived in many beautiful places including Scotland and Northumberland and now Warwickshire.

I am captivated by European folklore and fairy tales with memories of Grimm's Brothers stories and Hans Christian Anderson being read to me as a child, but even more than that, it is a subconscious feeling that I hope is captured...and my greatest wish is that you feel it too.
