Robin designs and makes both miniature ceramics using porcelain and large garden sculptures using a variety of coloured stoneware clays. The main influences on her design are landscape and natural forms with a little bit of fantasy thrown in.
Robin’s garden sculptures are designed to creates a relationship with plant structures as the garden and plants change through the seasons. The clay is used to reflect aspects of the environment and landscape, capturing moments in time seasonally and frequently using plants to impress in the clay to celebrate the momentary nature of time.
