I am a fine art photographer, lecturer and author. I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
Currently I am working with a process known as wet plate collodion. This was invented in 1851 and was popular for about 20 years. It involves working with large plate cameras and the production of a unique image on glass - known as an ambrotype.
Originally a biologist, I concentrate on natural forms. Plants, still life and the body.
I have recently retired as a lecturer at Birmingham City University, having been in education all my life and can now concentrate fully on my art work.
Over the years I have had many exhibitions including
The Manege , St Petersburg
The Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry
The Royal Photographic Society, Bath
The White Gallery, Bath
