British jewellery designer Alice Stewart is inspired by how, in nature nothing is perfect, and everything is perfect. The beauty of the British countryside is a strong influence for her designs and she continues to be drawn in by natures pleasures. She is currently based in her idyllic, picturesque garden Studio in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Each original is hand carved by Alice, and a lost-wax technique is used to transform the pieces into precious metal. The skilfully carved details give her work an exquisite delicacy. She mainly works in sterling silver and gold vermeil, but gold and diamonds can also be found incorporated into some of her organic designs. Parts are satin finished as well as highly polished, to give a two tonal effect that helps brings the pieces to life.
