Wren Hall

Artform: Mixed media
My inspiration was my dear late husband. I was encouraged by Marie Currie nurses to go out & I joined a local art group. My husband became my inspiration – he looking forward to my return & praised my painting. However, he sadly passed away January 2000 & I didn’t pick up a brush for many years. Then a dear friend encouraged me to try again and to join another local art group. To my delight I found my love of painting once more. This time my painting took me on a new journey. My late farther was very creative and a sculptor. We shared views on art, form, spiritually, and a belief in the beauty of nature. One day I was given a palette of ink pads, and whilst trying them out a spiritual moment happened. I felt my brush painting like I had never painted before. Then a message – trees set the scene, as my farther would say. From that day forward my style was formed & I have now built a portfolio of my journey to share with others. I look forward to your visit to Wren Hall.
