The residents are excited about exhibiting their art in the community room. The residents enjoy a varied activity programme, including an art & photography club, vital to their mental and physical health and wellbeing. The residents’ creativity is fully supported by the activities’ team, volunteers and carers. Some of them are very skilled watercolourists, whilst other simply enjoy colouring in. The photography group produce wonderful images whilst out on trips or in the lovely garden they help to maintain. The art group also experiments with collage and mixed media, producing large pieces that involve the whole home. We even have a resident who is a keen sculptor. Let’s not forget the skilled ladies and gents who love to sew, knit or crochet to keep their minds and fingers busy. Southam Stitch by Stitch is a community stitching which is open to all. We enjoy all textile arts and welcome all skill levels, from beginners to experts.
