Ravi Dugal

Artform: Painting
Ravi’s art form is oil/acrylic painting on canvas and watercolours. He always had a fascination for architecture and has built bridges as a Civil Engineer. He is now replicating this skill of minute detailing when painting structures on canvas. Several of his works are inspired by temples of worship. The beauty of nature inspires him to capture landscapes, flora, and fauna. He draws on the colours found in nature incorporating vibrant hues in his paintings. His style veers towards surrealism with an inclination to use pointillism. Daughter, Tasmeen is an animator by profession and uses soft pastels and charcoal as her medium. She tries to bring out the emotion and expression of her characters through a unique style of colour mixing in her portraits and figures. Her inspiration comes from varied cultures and traditions. She loves inspiring creativity in young children through interactive painting and drawing workshops. We will be exhibiting originals and prints. Commissions welcome.
