I don’t have a genre per se, but at the heart of my work is an emotional response to and celebration of the natural world, the elements and it’s evolution. Trees, plants, landscapes, seascapes, natural structures and rock strata are a particular inspiration to me …… in fact, all organic shapes.

I have always been intrigued and interested in the knowledge and ceremonies of Indigenous peoples and their connection with the earth, nature and the wider universe.

Shape and colour are becoming more prominent and superseding the importance of the actual subject in some aspects of my work. My drawings have always taken an abstracted form. Some areas of my photography are beginning to take on a similar form as I experiment with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) & longer shutter speeds. In addition to my nature images I now enjoy searching for these shapes in urban and coastal areas, buildings, churches, machinery etc. Street Photography is a growing interest.
