Artform: Enamel ,Glass
I am a glass and enamel artist, teacher and art psychotherapist.
I create glass artwork, jewellery and homeware, with each piece is designed and created by hand. I focus on colour and form, creating interesting shapes and designs in my work. Through using the techniques of glassblowing, fusing, lampworking and enamelling I am able to use glass as medium to take an idea from my imagination and bring it to life. My work is bright, colourful and I love to make work that will make people smile!
Having spent my childhood by the sea, memories of that time are reflected in my work with vibrant colours inspired by Turkey. My work often follows natural themes using a variety of glass techniques and I am inspired by the world around me. I also like to experiment and learn new skills to incorporate in my work.
