I am a professional artist specialising in animal art, a traditional subject, but with a modern, colourful and contemporary spin on my style to create fun portraits. I like to create work that makes you smile! I enjoy painting different breeds of cattle, but welcome the challenge of painting any animal that catches my eye. Living on the boarders of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire there are plenty of farm animals and wildlife right on my doorstep.
A rainbow of bright, bold, striking colours are my core palette, I like to play with plain and patterned backgrounds and have been known to throw in a monochromatic style in complete contrast to my usually colourful work.
I have also been experimenting in creating food artworks this year, they are really fun and suit my style of painting, I’m always inspired by my trips to coast too and have been interested in recycling too this year and have been working on new artwork made from recycled materials.
