My current works are inspired by the nature and landscape around where I live on the Warwickshire/Cotswold border. While a lot of the works in this exhibition focus on the garden birds living in and off the hedgerow outside my window, other pieces are inspired by the landscape around me and the effects of weather on the landscape. Using a combination of gelatine plate mono print and paint techniques, I like to mono print directly from nature to create interesting grounds and texture. I will also be exhibiting some large scale wildlife drawings. Alongside my practice as a painter/printmaker I also screen print my own fabric under the guise of Olive and May using similar visual themes. I will be exhibiting and selling Olive and May hand made, hand printed home accessories. Art Cards and giclée prints will also be available to buy. I will be exhibiting at this venue alongside wildlife painter Grenville Moore; come and join us for art, tea and cake!
