Lawrence is a successful self-taught local artist who has used the creative process to make sense of life events. His style is expressive; emotive and challenging. Influenced by the Abstract Expressionists, Lawrence’s art is about the painterly process often using found art to contain the movement of the paint and mark making. He has exhibited locally and internationally; has commissions in Italy, France and Nationwide. Lawrence has had submissions in the Open exhibitions of Rugby, Leamington and Rugby. This year, Lawrence will be presenting new works with old – exhibiting a creative journey. All art will be for sale and is of a wide spectrum of sizes. He undertakes commissions.
