Our launch event, to which you are all invited, will be on Saturday 22nd June from 2 – 5pm with refreshments. Come and browse our paintings, cards and prints with something to suit everyone’s taste. The spacious and beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church allows plenty of space to view the paintings at your leisure and enjoy the ambiance in this magnificent building.
Julia Essex is exhibiting a diverse collection of new paintings in oils and acrylics which includes figurative and animal paintings as well as land- and sea- scapes. Julia has been experimenting with new techniques of painting thin layers of oil paint and glazes to produce paintings of depth with a unique style.
Julie Whitehouse will be exhibiting her exquisite botanical watercolour paintings, landscapes in oils and pastel prints and linocut etchings.
Both artists look forward to meeting visitors and are very happy to explain their creative processes.
