I am a hobby painter using soft pastels and pastel pencils. During COVID I used online tutorials to develop skills and techniques, and I now confidently offer pet portraits as a speciality. I enjoy meeting people and their pets and like to take my own photos and discover their character to build into the portrait. I also love to paint wildlife, land and seascapes and unusual things that take my eye.
I have my own studio at home, but enjoy painting with likeminded people so attend classes weekly to improve my art further.
I have held workshops recently and am delighted to hear that some attendees have purchased pastels of their own to continue their painting, I do so enjoy sharing my love of pastels with others.
