Dale Street Methodist Church is the perfect setting in the town centre to come and see the work of 6 talented individual artists, a vibrant painting group and the unique Land Art Photography Group – Jane Yates, Lorna Ashworth, Cathy Renken, Bridget Mattingly, Judy Dyson, Ellie Rose, Painting Without Numbers and the Land Art Photography Group. My work is expressive, layered and evocative. It is inspired by the landscape, in particular my personal response to form and texture. I explore my subjects with photography, sketching and journaling before expressing my ideas in a variety of mediums, including acrylic paints and inks, texture pastes and also collage, printing and painting my own papers on recycled materials.
