Cotswold Edge Studios

Artform: Illustration ,Mixed media ,Painting
Eli Rees-King is an artist and visual storyteller who draws on her vivid imagination to create magical, dreamlike paintings and illustrations. Her inspiration comes from a deep connection to nature, especially woodlands, and water, but also the moon and the stars and everything else in between.
So much of her work echoes the mystical UK landscape as well as that found in Scandinavia. European folklore and old fairy tales continue to influence her style of work evoked by childhood memories of stories from Grimm’s Brothers and Hans Christian Anderson books amongst others.
Eli will be exhibiting original artwork and will also be showing her illustrations created for the children’s book “Fiery Fox” and the process involved in taking the ideas from concept through to final artwork and the printed book.
