Dassett Pottery

Artform: Ceramics ,Sculpture
Established in 2021 Dassett Pottery is a modern adult teaching studio focused on wellbeing through creativity and community. It expanded in 2023 to provide our potters with specialist throwing, hand building, kiln and glaze and decoration rooms supported by a pottery supply shop and gallery. It aims to make ceramics as accessible as possible.
Equipped with the highest quality facilities and supplies the pottery offers courses, workshops, tasters, family sessions and evening classes alongside open access. It offers an affordable relaxed environment for potters to develop and explore their creativity.
The pottery is supported by potters Catherine Wahlberg, Nick White, Rebecca Strefford, Tess Trinder and Linnea Eliasen
Visitors during Summer Art weeks are encouraged to throw a pot or do some hand building!.
***Celebrity Potter Sophie Wootton will be at the studio to open our Summer Art Weeks events and to judge some fun throwing challenges on Saturday 22nd June 2024***
