Biography

Shirley Cherry is a Tysoe based artist-illustrator who loves painting and drawing animals. “I love looking at their shapes and trying to capture their individual characters, whether it’s the Hereford cattle at the farm next door, safari animals on travels abroad or pets that I have been commissioned to paint.” Dogs are a specialism. Shirley has been painting dogs for people over ten years and loved every minute.  “No two dogs are ever the same.  I strive to capture your best friend in my paintings as I know just how important they are.”
