Biography

Katy Walden is a painter based in Warwick, working predominantly in oils. She enjoys painting a wide range of subject matter from still life, places visited and people but all are based on observation, using a visual language of brushstrokes and marks to capture the light and essence of the subject. Having studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art, she loves painting the coast and other natural forms but can be equally inspired by the way the light is hitting objects around her home. Her work has been exhibited within Warwickshire as well as being selected for various open exhibitions including at The Mall Galleries in London.
