Biography

David, dubbed “The Rural Surrealist” in a Country Life Magazine feature article, is a Cotswold based oil painter.

In 2019, a number of his original paintings were acquired by Coast Gallery, Big Sur, California. He remains the sole British artist in their international collection.

David is inspired by the beauty of nature and loves embellishing it’s drama with his own narrative and undercurrent of surrealism.
