Originally from Wales I am a painter and printmaker. I predominantly paint still life in oils with some painting of landscapes en plein air in summer. I also create prints using intaglio etching and collagraph techniques. I paint from life from still life set up in the studio or landscapes painted on the spot. My still life painting aims to capture colour and form and create an alternate calm world where the viewer creates the story behind the objects.
